Gold Coast's leading live act, Hanlon Brothers today announce the upcoming release of their new single, High Life ft. TØBI, the much anticipated follow up to multi-nominated track, Diamonds.
In a frenzy of firsts for the award-winning masters of funk 'n' groove, High Life sees Hanlon Brothers feature their first female collaboration on their first electronic/dance track produced outside of the band for the first time ever by New Zealand idol winner, Xy Latu.
"Hanlon Brothers are first and foremost lovers of music, full stop," said drummer Saia Hanlon, "We love pushing our creativity into other sounds and genres. High Life is a fresh, youthful sound and we couldn't think of anyone more suited to bring our vision for this song to life than TØBI.
"She's bold and sassy with a very big, bright future in music."
Fresh off the back of her showcase at Little BIGSOUND music conference in July, TØBI was stoked at the opportunity to collaborate with Hanlon Brothers, "Usually I'm more of a producer these days, so I'm excited I get to write and sing with Hanlon Brothers on this track," said the 23 year old Gold Coast artist.
"High Life is about being young and in love and whilst not necessarily being rich you still feel like you’re living the high life with each other."
High Life will be available for pre-order 15 September 2017.

TØBI is a sassy yet mysterious artist/producer who makes bold decisions with her work, taking the reins and front seat in 2017 to revolutionize the industry. Only extremely fresh to the scene, she has already landed herself a plethora of gigs in Queensland and is currently in works on her debut EP scheduled for later this year. Formerly a singer/ songwriter, she was often left unsatisfied when handing her music over to be produced by someone else, this strongly encouraged her to take matters into her owns hands and began producing music on her own. TØBI not only be an identity, but a way of life, a movement in the next generation of producing within a male dominated industry. Big things to come!
