Award winning Canadian troubadour, Dylan Menzie is sure to win Australia over on his first visit Down Under with a showcase at Australian Music Week on 2 November and opening for ARIA-winning blues roots duo, The Audreys on their upcoming national tour.
With a sprawling vocal range and compelling approach to composition, Dylan is one of Canada's most celebrated young singer/songwriters drawing support tours and comparisons with the likes of The Lumineers, Fleet Foxes and City & Colour.
Celebrating The Audreys' winning debut, Between Last Night and Us, Premier Artists' Sean Simmonds said the team are very excited for Dylan to "bring his captivating voice to The Audreys’ national tour."
Menzie made an indelible mark on the Canadian music scene with his debut EP Heather Avenue in 2013 and has continued to soar taking home two awards, ten nominations and critical acclaim for 2016 album, Adolescent Nature, including the #1 charting breakthrough song, Kenya.
Picking up his first instrument, the violin, at just 8 years old, Dylan Menzie has now mastered nine but without a doubt, his most powerful instrument is his voice and platinum-selling country star, Dallas Smith agrees, "His voice grabbed me immediately, I can't wait to hear what else he has to offer...no bells and whistles, just talent," he said .
