Award-winning Australian band, Hanlon Brothers masterfully fuse original hip-hop, RnB, soul and jazz improvisations to create a signature sound with a killer combination of raw talent, versatility and flawless technique that has made them Gold Coast's leading live act.

A musical melting pot of creative chemistry, fine-tuned talent and broad influences, Hanlon Brothers, Saia, Omar and Ruka Hanlon, are joined by feature vocalists, MCs and instrumentalists from around the world, each bringing a unique flavour to every song.

On the back of a strong 2017, Hanlon Brothers will perform at Bluesfest this Easter and Festival 2018 as part of the Commonwealth Games, with the impending release their much anticipated new single, Freedom, sure to launch the Brothers onto the national and international music radar.

"Hanlon Brothers are the most exciting Australian act I've seen since The Cat Empire first emerged," said Bluesfest director, Peter Noble.

Urban and Regional Song Of Year finalists in this year's Queensland Music Awards, Hanlon Brothers were awarded Gold Coast’s Emerging Artist Of The Year in 2015, as well as Artist of the Year finalist in 2016 and recently performed at the 2017 Gold Coast Music Awards alongside ARIA charting Amy Shark and international pop sensations, The Veronicas for the Surfers Paradise LIVE Festival.

Hanlon Brothers are known as local heroes for a reason. What they have going is truly unique, and there is no other band on the Gold Coast with as big or as loyal of an audience. They can hold a crowd of thousands in the palm of their hand.

Hanlon Brothers have played Woodford Folk Festival and support slots for the likes of Cat Empire and Stan Walker, reliably drawing thousands to shows and the watchful gaze of music giants Warner Music and Jay Z’s record company Roc Nation.

The Burleigh born and bred Brothers are passionate exponents of their local community, growing the next generation of Gold Coast artists through their music academy, Burleigh Music Academy, which their father and uncle founded in 1997, and regularly hosting free performances to champion local initiatives such as the Walk With Me Foundation and Burleigh Boardriders.

With a brand new purpose-built studio, Hanlon Brothers Studios in Miami on the Gold Coast, Hanlon Brothers are set to this year record their second studio album to follow up 2015's popular Featured, which garnered national radio airplay and a USA tour.

With improvisation the cornerstone of their sound, Hanlon Brothers are a truly unique experience every time giving fans an insatiable thirst for more. Forewarned is forearmed!

Hanlon Brothers are known for being the hardest working musicians in town, but what they’re better known for is putting on one hell of a live show! These guys were made to perform and the bigger the crowd, the bigger the buzz.
— Sam Morris, Gold Coast Music Awards Director
